Apple chose TSMC over Samsung for future 3nm M3 and A17 Bionic chips

Apple will use TSMC’s N3E (3nm) to manufacture its future M3 and A17 Bionic chips. This will be the first time the company has used the N3N chips in the past. It will be used for the most powerful A16 and M2 chips, not the M1 and M3N, but the M2N chips will be made by TSMC. The company is expected to use the 3N chips for the next generation of Apple products.
