Did the Earth’s core really stop spinning or reverse direction?

A new study claims that the rotation of the core of the Earth has stopped or reversed. The study was carried out by Xiaodong Song and Yi Yang from China’s Peking University. The researchers compared seismic readings from the early ‘90s with more recent readings. They found that the temporal changes between repeated waves had changed.
