Drinking four or more cups of black, green or oolong tea daily was associated with a 17% lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes over an average period of 10 years. The findings were presented at this year’s European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Annual Meeting in Stockholm, Sweden. Each cup of tea consumed per day reduces the risk of T2D by around 1%. The study was carried out by Chinese researchers from Wuhan University of Science and Technology in China.Read Long Article
