Federal officials have taken possession of a Pacific Gas Co. and utility transmission pole and transmission equipment attached to the transmission line. 13 people were injured in the Mosquito Fire, which destroyed 13 homes. The United States Forest Service is currently conducting a criminal investigation into the cause of the fire. The Pacific Gas & Electric Co. says it was already replaced by a STEEL POLE about ten years ago with a new transmission line that was attached to a PGE transmission pole.
