Spanish researchers looked at the diet and lifestyles of 621 patients with prostate cancer, 1,205 people with breast cancer and 2,193 people, who didn’t have cancer. Those who routinely eat after 9pm are 25 per cent more likely to get cancer than those who do. This is because your metabolism begins to slow down in the evening – but eating will make it speed up again.
