The Duke of York, the Duke of Sussex and Princess Beatrice would be relieved of their duties as official stand-ins for the sovereign. Prince Harry and Prince Andrew are no longer working members of the royal family. Prince Edward and Prince Anne could be elevated into the role. The change would have to be enacted by the Houses of Parliament. Prince Philip and Prince Harry acted as counsellors of state under the 1937 Regency Act.
