Nearly half of office workers are back in New York City on an average weekday, up from 38% in April. Fully remote office worker levels are now down to 16%, down from 28% last month. Partnership for New York says 54% of workers will be back in office by January. Public transit data is showing the increase in returning workers as well, with 3.7 million subway riders daily this week the most since March 2020.
