Blizzard confirmed that the last day for the original Overwatch servers is October 2nd, 2022. There will be a whopping 27 hours of downtime where Blizzard revamps the servers for Overwatch 2. Blizzard notes that they’ll give current players the ability to download Overwatch 2 a little bit ahead of launch. This will also be a sort of checklist for players to handle in order to make the jump to Overwatch 2 as smooth as possible.
