Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubisky failed to take a step forward as a passer in the loss to the New England Patriots. The Steelers have struggled stretching the field vertically in the passing game this week. The offense has resembled the same dink-and-dunk passing game that became infamous with Ben Roethlisberger in the last couple years of his career. Pittsburgh’s running game was better than last week against the Cincinnati Bengals, but the running game wasn’t better in this one. Pittsburgh plays against the Cleveland Browns on a short week on Thursday night.
