SpaceX breaks pad turnaround record with two Falcon 9 launches in six days

Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) Launch Complex 40 (LC-40) is the single most important cog in SpaceX’s Falcon 9 launch machine. Launch took place on Saturday, September 24th, September 25th, at 7:32 pm EDT (23:32 UTC) It is the company’s 43rd launch of 2022 and 62nd dedicated Starlink launches overall. CEO Elon Musk is targeting up to 100 launches in 2023. In 2018 and 2019, SpaceX launched an average of 17 Falcon rockets per year. In Q3, the company has averaged 12.7 days per launch, the new turnaround time for an entire year would be 107 days.
