Texas AG Ken Paxton fled home with his wife to avoid subpoena in abortion case, court filing says

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says he’s “lucky this situation did not escalate further or necessitate force” A federal judge quashes a Texas attorney general’s subpoena for his testimony in a federal lawsuit over an abortion ban. A process server says he arrived at Paxton’s Texas home to deliver the documents Monday morning. He says he was in a hurry to leave his home and refused to accept the documents from a process server. The subpoena had ordered Paxton, a Republican, to testify in a civil lawsuit.
