This smartphone manufacturer beat Samsung and Apple in Mexico

Motorola was the leading OEM in Mexico in Q2 2022, with a smartphone sales share of 28%. Samsung was, thankfully, the second-largest smartphone manufacturer in Mexico during the three-month period ending in June. Apple followed Samsung in third place, capturing 16% of the market. Xiaomi, Oppo, and Huawei were also notable smartphone brands in the country. Samsung’s Lee Jae-yong recently visited Mexico to meet with President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador to discuss Busan World Expo 2030.
