FPSO is being built for the BP-led Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project in Mauritania and Senegal. Typhoon Muifa has caused the floating production, storage and offloading vessel to drift about 200 metres off the quayside at a shipyard in Qidong, China. The mooring lines of the FPSO became compromised during the typhoon, resulting in the vessel drifting 200 metres of the quayside.
